There are a number of great trade show management companies. But they are built to focus on traditional booth space and the event itself. Xplain has built specialty programs, systems, and methodologies for creating special interest pavilions and “villages” at shows around the globe.
A Proven Track Record
With over 70 pavilions since 1994, Xplain has built quite the clientele. Here are a few of the most visible shows: Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference, Apple Expo Paris by Reed, IDG Management’s Macworld Expo‘s held around the world, LinuxWorld, Internet Commerce Expo, and PhotoPlus Expo. Smaller conferences as well — such as Ford Motor Company’s Technical Specialist Conference.

Our goal is to simply make your event problems go away. Period. We will handle all the related preshow and on-site arrangements, and do all the leg work, while you maintain control of your budget and final decision making process. Furthermore, we’ll regularly keep you informed and “in the loop”.
We’ll coordinate the outsourcing and management of vendors, present you with the options, solutions, and recommendations. Then implement whatever your selections may be. At each step, you’ll be able to make informed decisions, and maintain control. It is our mission to aid business growth by creating opportunities for buyers and sellers to meet face to face. We provide a total “turnkey” package for the show owner.
Awards Programs
Xplain Corporation can create an award program to compliment your particular event or conference. For example, a “Best of Show Awards” is designed to recognize the best and hottest products at a show. A predetermined list of categories are established, submissions are gathered, and attendees (after seeing entries first hand) vote on products and technologies at a dedicated voting station area set up within the convention hall. An example of an awards program we designed and executed was implemented for PhotoPlus Expo West 99 — the premiere event for west coast professional photographers showcasing some of the most advanced, innovative products in the industry. The Photo Plus Expo Best of Show Awards recognized the best and hottest products at the show. All exhibitors were eligible for the awards program.
